Bursa is a must-see city with its historical and natural beauties. It has been home to many civilizations and the Ottoman Empire. When you come to Bursa, which has many green areas and natural beauties, you will realize that it is called Green Bursa. Transportation to Bursa is quite easy. You can go by ferry from Istanbul or you can reach Bursa from the intercity bus terminal. Autumn is the best season to make a cultural trip to Bursa. If you want to get to know Bursa, which you can travel to daily, better, if you want to visit more, it will be enough to spend 5 days. We stayed at our family's house in Bursa. Transportation in Bursa is easy with public transportation; you can get there by bus, metro and minibuses. We rented a car from Green Motion because we were very crowded and we could fit a lot of places in 5 days.

1. Azime Abla'nın Yeri

When we got up in the morning, we went to Cumalıkızık for breakfast. We had breakfast at Azime Ablanın yeri. For breakfast we had our favorite sarma and potato and cheese balls. We ordered potato and eggplant pancakes. We paid 125 tl for breakfast and 40-55 tl for pancakes per person.

2. Uludag Cable Car

After breakfast, we went to the gin dead end (alley) and toured the village. The village tour and breakfast took 3 hours on average. From there we set off for Uludağ by cable car. After an average of half an hour, we reached Bursa Uludağ Cable Car. Ticket prices (I wrote the current prices) full fare is 180 tl round trip and 90 tl round trip for students. Student ID is not valid, an active student certificate is required from e-government. It takes an average of 25 minutes from Teferrüç station to Sarı Alan station. When we went there, we just visited. We breathed the fresh air of Uludağ by looking at the panoramic view of the city from Uludağ. We did not shop or eat because the prices were overpriced. After spending an average of about an hour, we returned to the station we came by cable car.

3. Iskender Efendi Mansion - Restaurant

Since we were very hungry, we couldn't not eat Iskender while we were in Bursa. We chose İskender Efendi Mansion in the Botanical Garden of Bursa. We heard a lot about the ambiance and the beauty of their Iskender. We were very impressed by both the interior and the garden of the mansion. We ordered grape must, the famous drink of Bursa, with our Iskenders. We ate our meal for a long time and drank our teas and chatted. Afterwards, we learned that there was a museum inside and we visited it. When we visited the museum, the fact that it contains old motifs attracted our attention (I don't remember the portion price).

4. Inkaya Historical Sycamore Tree

After our tour, we visited the historical Inkaya plane tree when it was not so cold. We went to drink tea under this plane tree, one of the symbols of Bursa, but the cafe was closed because it was late. We ended the first day of our tour by buying fruits sold by local people.

5. Ulucami

On the second day, we woke up a little earlier and planned our day. We made a two-day bazaar plan. Since there was so much to see and taste on the bazaar side, it made more sense for us to divide it into two days. We went up to Şehreküstü and visited Ulucami at around 1-2 noon. Then we decided to take a bazaar tour while we were in the bazaars. First we looked for towels in Ulu Bazaar and then we visited the covered bazaar. The covered bazaar is a place where you can shop daily.

6. Koza Han

After getting tired in the bazaar, we stopped by Koza Han, which is indispensable every time we come to Bursa, for Turkish Coffee. You can sip your coffee by the fountain or taste the roasted coffee in the inner inn. We like sitting in the area with the fountain more. For dessert with our coffees, we bought semolina halva with ice cream from Hacı Şerif Tatlıcısı, which is two shops away. We shared one portion for two people. The portions are enough but since it is a heavy dessert, one portion can easily be eaten by two people. The price was 65 TL (current price.) I recommend eating semolina halva with ice cream and tahini.

7. Tayyare Culture Center

After touring around a bit more, we had tea at Tayyare Cultural Center and took a breather. After shopping, it felt good to stop here and be with some of Bursa's history.

8. Kardelen Kestane Şekercisi

We went down Tuz bazaar bazaar and came to Kardelen Kestane Şekerci (Kardelen Chestnut Candy Store) on Cumhuriyet Street. We couldn't come to Bursa without buying chestnut candy.

9. Kucuksaray Pideli Köfte

We had our dinner with Pideli Köftec, one of the local flavors of Bursa. We love to eat at Küçük Saray Pideli Köftec. It is a place we have been coming to since we were little. It is a place that is quite sufficient in terms of portions and tastes delicious.

10. Abdal Simit Bakery

We went to eat pita with tahini, one of the local flavors of Bursa. We preferred Abdal Bakery, which is located on the upper side of Demirtaş Pasha station. It serves as takeaway service. You can consume the breakfast foods you buy from one of the tea stoves around it. We had tahini pita and bagel at Abdal bakery. They tasted very good. There is a long queue but it is definitely worth the wait as there are always fresh and hot products.

11. Tophane Clock Tower

After breakfast, we went to Tophane Clock Tower, one of the symbols of Bursa. We decided to go on foot. When we arrived at Tophane, we were very impressed when we saw the clock tower.

12. Bursa Castle

We felt the history and culture of the Ottoman Empire by going up from Bursa Castle and passing by the city walls. When we came to Tophane, we were very impressed when we saw the clock tower. Another thing that impressed us here is that you can watch Bursa panoramically.

13. Osman Gazi and Orhan Gazi Tombs

We visited the tombs of Osman Gazi and Orhan Gazi. We went down again on foot.

14. Historic Aynalı Han Pide and Cantik

While we were in Bursa, we went to eat cantık. We ate cantık at the historical Aynalı Han cantıkçi. You will feel the nostalgia in this place located at the exit of the historical Aynalı bazaar. You may have to wait in line for a short while as it is difficult to find an empty table.

15. Muradiye Complex

Our last point was Muradiye Complex. We took a breather at the Muradiye complex.

16. Doburca Derebahçe

In the morning, we preferred Doburca Derebahçe, which is in the woods for a little more diversity. It was a place with plenty of breakfast variety. It is definitely a place to go for fresh air.

17. Gölyazı

We wanted to take a walk around Gölyazı. It felt so good to walk around the lake in this beautiful village on a peninsula.

18. Gölyazı Apolyont Restaurant

You can eat lake fish at Gölyazı Apolyont Restaurant. There are different dishes on the menu.

19. Balcony Cafe

We went to the Balkon Cafe in Doburca because we couldn't get enough of the view of Bursa since there was only one day left to go. The view of the cafe shows both the forest and part of Bursa. It was a place we went because it was open for a long time at night. The fact that it was also a place where children could play games was a plus point for us.

20. Ersoy Fish

Since it was our last day, we didn't want to be too limited in time. We went to Mudanya for lunch. We wanted to say goodbye to Bursa by eating fish against the sea in Mudanya. We ate the fish at Ersoy Balık and the menu attracted us. The taste was also quite good.

21. PodiumPark

After walking a bit in Mudanya, we didn't waste much time. we went to PodiumPark.

22. Emirgan Sütiş

We stopped for a coffee at Emirgan Sütiş.
